Number of eBay listings: 488

Eating from the pantry adventure: pork medallions with baked potato and Brussels sprouts

To do list items completed:

  • Reorganization of the to read bookshelves

We have seedlings!

Seedlings in their colorful pots

Things I have discovered in the course of reorganizing my to-read bookshelves:

  • I need to read more
  • Any bookshelf with dust on the shelves need more books. Mine are double-stacked and dust would not dare to have dust on them
  • My methodology always needs to include removing all of the books from my shelves because I cannot sort them when the shelves are full.
  • I have some seriously old books on my shelves

The eternal struggle over the thermostat commences. I run hot. My father runs cold. The HVAC system lives in fear of the in between days of spring and fall. Once again, I turn off the heat. And in the morning it will be on again. And so it shall be until summer.

EBay sales: lot of paint with diamonds kits,

Number of eBay listings: 500

Craft projects completed: 0

Eating from the pantry adventure: nothing today

To do items completed:

  • Started the tomato, peppers, and strawberries that have been hiding under the table

Hit the goal of 500 EBay listings today. It’s so much easier when you’re working with someone else. My friend and I use Discord to talk through listing issues or just generally talk. Even when it’s just us being quiet, the knowledge that someone else is sharing the moment makes it easier. Also, twice as much can get done. One more boxful you move to the eBay storage shelves.

Warning medical discussion ahead!

Almost pulled the wrong amount of meds this morning because I had one of my old needles. (States my new meds along with the stay at home. So much fun.) I am glad I double checked. It’s scary how easily habits and muscle memory take over. I used to give injections to animals as part of my job. So the actions of pulling a shot are ingrained. just as ingrained as double-checking the amounts. (The solution we were using was restricted and expensive.) I am glad of those muscles today.

I have discovered that my posture while working on diamond paintings is so horrible that I need to take a long break. ( after I finish this one ) It’s not bad when I am doing cross-stitch, so I will try transferring over to that. Maybe I will finally finish the cupcake I was working on for the last two years.

It feels really strange to have not listed anything today. My brain is itching as though I established a new habit in just a week. I thought it was supposed to take 21 days. Well, there are worse habits to have.

So, I finally have the new password to my work time card which means I don’t have to call in and have someone at the call center put the time in for me. That is a step in the right direction. I have been productive in terms of eBay listings, but my writing has been…. quiet. I think I am going to work on the short story I was supposed to have ready last month today. I have a goal to finish something creative before I go back to the day to day grind.

The eating from the pantry/ freezer is going well. Of course we are mostly out of fresh veg except for some sprouts and cabbage, but we have canned and frozen. My hope is to clear out our small fridge and the outside freezer. Made my first poached eggs yesterday and they didn’t suck.
